Already have an accountant?
Lettd doesn't replace your accountant — it replaces the messy spreadsheet or shoebox of receipts you hand them.
At £49/year, it's less than one hour of accountant time — and it saves them hours of work.
MTD requires you to submit quarterly updates directly to HMRC — your accountant can't do that part for you.
Arrive at year-end with clean digital records. Your accountant will thank you.

Common questions
Does MTD apply to me?
MTD applies if your gross rental income (plus any self-employment income) exceeds £50,000 from April 2026, £30,000 from April 2027, or £20,000 from April 2028. Use our free quiz to find out exactly where you stand.
Do I need an accountant to use Lettd?
No. Lettd is designed to be used independently. You can share your year-end summary with an accountant if you have one, but you don't need one to submit quarterly updates.
I have more than one rental property. Can I use Lettd?
Yes. You can track multiple properties separately, and Lettd consolidates them into a single quarterly submission to HMRC.
What if I'm below the £50,000 threshold?
You're not required to use MTD software yet — but the threshold drops to £30,000 in 2027 and £20,000 in 2028. Getting set up now means no last-minute scramble later.
Is Lettd on HMRC's recognised software list?
We're steps away from HMRC recognition — our integration is fully built and sandbox-tested against the official HMRC API. We'll notify everyone on our list the moment it's confirmed.
